So since I got 7 through 6, I am now on my lifetime purchase. For version 6, I did the lifetime subscription. For version 5, I bought the stand alone Pro app. Thank you James, that’s what I thought, so for me things haven’t changed. If it says Monthly, Yearly, or Lifetime you will get free upgrades for all releases. If you’re not sure what you have, the easiest way to check is to look up your purchase history in iTunes. The main reason for this additional offering was to help those who needed family sharing (and didn’t want to use Trakt) as Apple did not natively support Family Sharing of in-app purchases until early 2021. Infuse Pro 6 is a video player app developed by Firecore, LLC. These apps were available at a lower price point than the ‘Lifetime’ license available in the free Infuse app. In the past, we also offered a standalone paid ‘Infuse Pro’ app which covered updates for that specific version (IE ‘Infuse Pro 6’ covers you until the release of Infuse 7). Sounds like there are some nice changes in store though.All of the in-app purchase options offered in Infuse 5 and later have included free upgrades for major releases. On the surface though, (other then the new dark icon feature), nothing really stands out. Overall, I’ve been pleased with the upgrade so far. For Movie Sharing, I let her access my VUDU account on the Roku I gave her, as she doesn’t have an Apple TV. I do have family sharing enabled for my mother (who lives in a different part of the state), however, it’s mainly so she can share my music purchases, even though she can access other things too. Just like Plex Pass, I knew I was going to use the service, so find the option to pay up front, and be done with it nice vs not having another monthly / yearly bill, etc.Īs far as tract, I don’t have an account, and don’t currently see the need for it. ![]() At least, it’s done now, so I won’t have to pay for upgrades going forward now.
